Fairfax Signs Landmark 3g Deal With Telstra

JOHN Fairfax Holdings is the first major newspaper publisher to do a deal with Telstra for content to be delivered over the telco giant's new 3G mobile phone service. Fairfax's leading news websites - theage.com.au and smh.com.au - will be available on Telstra's interim 2.5G service i-Mode as well as the 3G service it is offering in partnership with Hutchison 3.
