Vodafone Calls Woolies, But 3 Hangs Up

Vodafone Australia yesterday announced plans to stock Woolworth's stores with its red SIM connection pack, at $2 a pop, in time for Christmas. But Hutchison Telecommunications Australia has decided to play Scrooge, announcing that its 3 customers will no longer roam on to Vodafone's network after Hutchison signed a roaming deal with its 3G network infrastructure partner, Telstra.
